While you likely will not be judged too harshly for any mistakes or typos in a seaman cover letter, these mistakes do hint at a lack of attention to detail which can be incredibly dangerous when you are out on the high seas. Getting the content of your cover letter right is half the battle. You also have to make sure that it is visually appealing.
