Your employment history section focuses on past work experiences and allows potential employers to understand your professional background, skills, expertise and accomplishments. As a high school student, it's understandable that you may not have a ton of career experience: don’t worry! Just because you don’t have years of work experience behind you, doesn’t mean that you have to skip this section or leave it blank. You can include extracurricular activities, such as participation in volunteering, community service or projects, clubs or organisations outside of academics. Ideally, you want to highlight positions you served in that showcase your leadership, teamwork, management or communication skills.
